The original Hot and Hot Fish Club was founded in the late 1700’s by the planters of All Saints Parish. The social club was dedicated to epicurean pursuits; gourmet food, strong drinks and festive times. The first club was said to be on Drunken Jack Island, located just a few miles south from here. Members of the original club described their past time spent on the island as the “happiest hours of their lives.” The Club was dismantled and finally laid to rest after the Civil War. An ever shifting sand bar off the coast of Huntington Beach State Park is all that remains of the original site. The Hot Fish Club today is located in the oldest existing restaurant building on the Grand Strand. Hot Fish Club remains a favorite gathering place today for discriminating locals and is open to everyone seeking Great Food, Great Drink, and Lively Conversation, in the spirit of those earlier revelers. We pride ourselves on our personal service and our desire to satisfy each guest.

“Good Food and Bad Advice.” Such is the motto for this one-of-a-kind restaurant that’s in the planning stages as we go to press. Located beside Hot Fish Club on the southern end of Murrells Inlet, it’s owned and operated by the HFC family – but it’s a totally different experience. The menu is quirky, to say the least, with a focus on affordability – most items run between $4 and $12 – and fresh, locally sourced meats, seafood and produce whenever possible. The team is still working out the particulars, but the choices are definitely different and change frequently to keep things interesting. Take time to explore and expect the unexpected from a restaurant where one of the items offered is described as “kinda weird, but tasty.” Lowcountry looks forward to this new venture from our friends at the Hot Fish Club. With a broad menu, pub-inspired atmosphere and an awesome atmosphere, the IPC is shaping up to be a mighty fun place to hang.

We never visit Pawleys Island without eating at the Hot Fish Club. The seafood platter is fantastic. Jamie, our waiter, did a great job, as usual.

A Hidden Gem for Steak Lovers! We recently had the pleasure of dining at 21 Main Prime, and we can confidently say it was one of the best dining experiences we've had! From the moment we walked in, the relaxed and quiet atmosphere made for a perfect evening. The highlight of the meal was undoubtedly the steaks—each bite was tender, flavorful, and cooked to perfection. If you're a fan of French onion soup, you absolutely must try theirs; it's worth every minute of the wait! Rich, hearty, and topped with gooey cheese, it was the perfect start to our meal. The restaurant boasts an impressive selection of bourbons and whiskeys, as well as a fantastic wine list that caters to any palate. Brian, our server, truly elevated our experience with his attentive and knowledgeable service. He was friendly, made great recommendations, and ensured we had everything we needed without being intrusive. Being off-season, the ambiance was particularly serene, allowing us to enjoy our meal without the usual hustle and bustle. If you’re in Myrtle Beach, do yourself a favor and treat yourself to 21 Main Prime.

Excellent service by Alex, excellent food and accommodated promptly for our open table reservation. A group of 11 ladies at the next table made the noise level almost intolerable. Conversation was very difficult. It quieted down, of course, when they were served their meals. Luigi’s is our favorite Italian restaurant at Myrtle Beach and we will continue to eat there in the years to come.

We enjoyed EVERYTHING. From the table overlooking the Intercoastal Waterway, Bourbon flights and discovering we are now big fans of Whistle Pig 12 year, appetizers and the absolutely FABULOUS Meringue dessert. Our server, Lizzy, was spectacular! We can't want to return.
