Best Restaurants for Outdoor Dining in Oak Bluffs

What a GEM! First time there for a weekday day date with my BF. He planned it all as a surprise and all did was use open table to get a spot right before we needed it. Oceanside view from the main dining room. Above average service. Food was delicious and cooked to absolute perfection. Wine pairing was on point. Saffron mussels, beet salad with sword fish and TWO desserts and hot chocolate to go for our ride back to Hartford. The outdoor igloos were available but it was 20 degrees so book one in the Sun, if you rent one. They have a FIREPLACE, table, pillows and are decorated.

We met up with a childhood friend of mine and his girlfriend for a wonderful lunch on a snowy Saturday afternoon. The host greeted us with enthusiasm, and our waiter was a pro. We never felt rushed… there’s a lot to catch up on after 50 years! The food was absolutely delicious, and our table was in a wonderful spot overlooking the bay and the gentle snowfall. It’s hard to imagine a better Saturday afternoon in Newport. We even celebrated our waiter’s recent US Citizenship after living here for 20 years. It was awesome!

From the moment we were welcomed by the friendly valet, to the live band playing in the lobby, and the outstanding service and exceptional food provided by the wait staff, we were thoroughly impressed.

The food was very tasty and the flavors were “sophisticated “ according to our knowledgeable friends. The menu choices were very appealing, and the four of us thoroughly enjoyed our meals. The views from the upper floor cannot be beat.
