Best Restaurants for Outdoor Dining in Big Cottonwood Canyon

Service was what you’d expect in a high end restaurant but rarely experience these days. Our server Hutch was amazing. 100% focused on delivering an exceptional dining experience without fuss or pretense. We had diners in our party who like their steaks on the medium well side and the kitchen accommodated. Lobster Risotto was delicious, chocolate soufflé superb. I also appreciated that they had reasonably priced bottled wine.

When we come to Park City it is the first restaurant we visit, it is a must for us. The whole experience is wonderful! The food is another level, the service, the attention of the staff is unsurpassed, from the person who greets you at the door, to the girl who attends your table, very friendly and always with a smile.

We had three dishes and two NA cocktails for Valentine’s Day. The seafood dishes which were mahi-mahi tostada, ceviche, and shrimp tacos were delicious. The sides were unseasoned, and the Barbacoa tacos were bland. Service was cheerful and friendly, but slow given that they were not that busy at 6 PM. The location means the higher prices than I would pay for this food normally. The Virgin Margarita was nice - not too sweet, but also not very interesting.

I have been to many restaurants in this world and this was in my top two best experiences. The hostess brought us to the seat shown in the photo without even asking for it. We went on Valentine’s Day and the restless busy and she went out of her way to make our special nigh even better. The server was excellent, the food was outstanding, the manger came over to say hello and talk to us. I want to thank everyone that sent above and beyond we had ax excellent experience.

We (my husband and I), had a fabulous dining experience at the Blind Dog! Our server, "Jackson", was phenomenal! He was personable, knowledgeable, and helpful. He answered all of our questions about the menu, as well as other general questions we had. He was attentive, professional, and fun! We had some appetizers and ordered a bottle of wine, and we both enjoyed our entrees! There is a wonderful variety of options on the menu. We love the story about the blind dog "Rigger" and the owners sound like amazing people. Very nice to have gluten free options. The Bananas Foster Bread Pudding was the BEST I have ever had and the after dinner specialty coffee drinks were a fantastic compliment. The vibe was lively and comfortable, neat decor, cool bar, nice sushi bar, plus it was clean. Can't say enough great things about this place. We will definitely be back next time we are in town.
