Best Restaurants for Outdoor Dining in Bel-Air

Gladys provided excellent service. I came with three of my girlfriends and it was all our first time at Lavo. We loved the atmosphere, the food, the service and the DJ was a nice surprise. He was right next to the booth we were at and played some of our favorites. From the garlic bread, pizza, carbonara & penne allá vodka… and the couple of different cocktails we had… we were very happy with our whole dining experience. Gladys was even kind enough to take some photos for us even though we know she must have been so busy as it was packed and a Saturday night. Please thank & acknowledge her wonderful service. The food, service was amazing. We were a group of 5 and everyone loved what they got. My only suggestion would be to replace the metal chairs for the table with ones that sit straight up vs. a lounge type chair where they lean back away from the table. It makes it difficult to comfortably eat.

Friendly staff but very slow service. Most food was tasty. Stir fry was an odd flavor— too spicy and not enough other robust flavor.

Magnificent service. Some of the best. The Yule log—sublime! The pigs in a blanket—imagine what that might be like with a master pastry chef! Shrimp cocktail—how often is it merely passable? Here it is of a uniformly exquisite tenderness. I want to say again, the SERVICE. This place is an industry standard but is generally underrated. Visit it again.

We go here for my wife's birthday which is on Christmas Eve. Not many places are open then and we really like the food and hospitality of AOC. Even though they don't take requests, they had a nice table for us indoors. It made it extra special to have carolers as well.
