Best Restaurants for Outdoor Dining in Atlantic Highlands

Our server Lauren was excellent…we had allergy issues and she was very attentive and helpful! We ordered the clams oreganato and was slightly disappointed with them…all breadcrumbs and very little clams. I felt overpriced for what you get. Otherwise, food, service and ambience excellent!

Our server, Brian, was fabulous. He was very knowledgeable about the menu and most importantly about gluten free options. He was also knowledgeable about cross contamination which is exceedingly important for a person with Celiac Disease. The food was great! I had the Chilean Sea Bass in tomato broth. The flavors were terrific and the fish was sublime. The other three diners with me ordered off of the specials. They ordered the lobster tails, the fruta del mare and the stuffed lobster. The three of them loved their dishes. I love the gf bread and I do not mind paying the additional $6 to get it! The only very minor issue was we felt our wedge salads were under-dressed so we asked for extra dressing and found out when we received the bill that we were charged for the dressing. It was a nominal charge, $4 for two, but I didn’t feel good about the surprise of it with the bill. Overall, a wonderful dining experience!

overall, the atmosphere and the food were decent. Some of the food items came out cold and we had to send them back, but once they addressed it, all was very good.

On a busy, busy night, Christmas Eve, we didn’t feel rushed for a second, Dalton was terrific, handled our weird questions with ease and grace, she was a lively and lovely part of our time at Brothers. If we weren’t in the Christmas spirit, it wouldn’t have been for long. The bar, restaurant and outdoor space are decorated for the holidays, not an inch or dollar was spared, absolutely spectacular, tasteful and joyous decorations everywhere. Magnificent, really. We inhaled oysters, so fresh, perfectly shucked, could have eaten another dozen (and then some), delicious wines and cocktails, then three delish entrees including special. No room for dessert. A perfect night, will be back. And back again, thank you!
