Best Organic Food Restaurants in West Falls Church

The mussels in a white wine butter sauce ($19) and bread with whipped butter (free appetizer) were phenomenal. I cannot recommend the mussels enough; they were better than the mussels that I had at Bistrot du Coin in Washington, DC. I do not recommend the Lyonnaise potatoes, which were just roasted potatoes with bacon and onions, as a side dish as it was dry and not a good value ($8).

On a delightful outing, I ventured in for a quick meal with a family member who had just flown in from out of state. Eager to sample a bit of everything, we opted for the all-you-can-eat option, and it certainly lived up to its promise. Our experience was a feast for the senses, from the enticing display of dishes on the table to the engaging cooking experience right before our eyes. As always, the Liberty Tavern had great happy hour food and prices. Good atmosphere, not too noisy. Great place to meet a couple of friends. We have a regular monthly get together there.

Mele Bistro is a charming, relaxed restaurant with great food and excellent wines, and attentive friendly service! It can easily become your go-to place for either fine dining or a casual meal.

Food was delicious, nicely presented and creative, and a good value, as was the wine compared with many other fine food restaurants, factoring in the expected wine markup. The service was attentive, perhaps a bit too so, as the waiter came back every minute or two to ask us if we were ready to order after we had literally just sat down, even though the restaurant was not at all crowded so there was no reason to be in a rush to get our order in, but she was otherwise excellent. I would highly recommend this restaurant!
