- LLanaCharlotte •1 review5.0Dined 2 days agoLove this restaurant! The ambience is superb - very elegant. Wait staff friendly although it seemed like a couple more were needed. I’m A bit old-fashioned but I think for the elegance of the restaurant people should dress better. Although it was lunch, men in particular seem to dress down with baseball caps and T-shirts, but that seems to be the norm in society now. This is my second time dining at Limani. The first time was luncheon with the ladies. Today we celebrated my husband‘s birthday. He was very pleased and delighted. We will return.More infoLimani - CharlottePrice: Very Expensive• Mediterranean• South Charlotte•4.7

Everyone we encountered was friendly and welcoming. Service was professional, attentive but not intrusive. They weren't packed when we walked in but it got that way and they handled it well. The food, though. Oh my. I had the baby gem salad and the roquefort dressing was delicious. I had the roasted tenderloin and added a side of Carolina gold rice. My companion had the grilled shrimp and said the shrimp were excellent. He added the blue sweet potato side dish with balsamic and cashews. Unusual but a delight. He shared a bite with me and it was so good. Wines are interesting. We had some great ones.More infoRooster's Wood Fired Kitchen Uptown CharlottePrice: Moderate• European• Uptown•4.8

Added the egg for $2 more. So much flavor and a slow heat build up as I ate. My wife got the avocado toast. The poached egg great and the balsamic drizzle on toast was a fantastic addition. My daughter got the pancakes. Wow. So fluffy and the black berries and blue berries were so good.More infoMariposaPrice: Expensive• Tapas / Small Plates• Uptown•4.4

It was a fun social event along with great food, wine, and service. McNinch House is always Charlotte's premier restaurant and keeps getting better. We love coming here.More infoMcNinch HousePrice: Very Expensive• Continental• Uptown•4.8
- AAngelaSouth Carolina •1 review5.0Dined on Nov 15, 2024I've seen restaurants like this in movies and had no idea there was one like it in Charlotte. I came here the first time with a couple of family members and returned with my friends here for girls' night out. The quality of the food is excellent. The experience of being with family or friends, grilling the food while socializing was such fun, and everything from appetizers to S'mores was delicious! Trevor, our server, was kind, personable and attentive. He explained the menu and made great recommendations. We are definitely coming back! I highly recommend Gyu-Kaku.More infoGyu-Kaku Japanese BBQ - Charlotte, NC | Second WardPrice: Expensive• Japanese• Charlotte•4.8
