Our waiter William was very accommodating . He was patient with my husband whose disability caused extra time for him to order.

First time at Polpo, but won’t be our last. Outstanding experience, starting with our server, Ethan. He was attentive, polite, timely and a perfect gentleman. Ordered the home-made Pappardelle Bolognese, which was one of the best we’ve ever had and the swordfish… simply outstanding. Outside seating was perfect, light breeze, in the shade, but full view of the beach. Couldn’t have asked for more. Finally ended with cappuccinos and a shared key lime pie. I’ve had a lot of key lime pie over the years, but this was the best I’ve ever had. We will be back for the brunch and live music evenings very soon.

We came in 20 minutes earlier than our reservation. We were greeted/welcomed by the host to have a seat by the lobby. Ironically, there was a 3 seat corner spot at the bar perfectly for me and my party. On Wednesday, they had live music and I reserved for the all you can eat stone crab claws. The bartender, Matt, was very well mannered, attentive, kind, and made our drinks to perfection. We were served fast in my opinion on a busy night. We chose a soup with our stone crab claws which was very fresh with mini meatballs, chicken, and vegetables. So good. As for the claws, I’d like to believe they are fresh. I notice you start with 2 pounds then they serve 3 claws after. I assume - all you can eat but once I finished the 2 pounds and had my 3 extra, I was honestly done. Again, really good. My boyfriend had a skirt steak and that was made to perfection. The restaurant was very nice and I truly enjoyed dining here.

Haven’t been here in a long while- I enjoyed it immensely. Will and Jill at the bar are fantastic, the gentleman at the podium was friendly and helpful, and I had forgotten how lovely a space it is! And the food was just what I needed- though my chopped vegetables salad was grossly under-seasoned, it was very fresh. Shrimp and grits was a lighter and sweeter version than the cheesy classic, and bread pudding was delicious and easily enough to share. (In fact, a friendly someone at the bar requested a taste of mine - I gladly obliged) I’m glad I visited! Thank you all
