Best Organic Food Restaurants in Lake Forest

This was our first visit and it was outstanding! We arrived early for our reservation and were seated immediately. Our waiter was excellent, charming and very helpful. The food was unique, in our experience, beautifully presented, and delicious! Wait staff was attentive without being a distraction. It was the best local dining experience we have had in years and we can’t wait to return.

The food was fabulous! It just took a really long time to get it. The servers were very kind.

Excellent casual weeknight dinner experience! Cocktails were creative and outstanding with an Enormous selection of bourbons and single malt scotch. We had salads and burgers, both of which were terrific. Our server, Sean was extremely attentive and available without being intrusive. The owner, Jen was working as the bartender as well as intermittently mingling with patrons and overseeing the busy take out section.

service was terrific, cocktails strong and food was tasty (shrimp/chicken with dirty rice, shrimp and grits, BBQ plates, artichoke fritters). oh and the bananas foster. only complaint was that at 7:30, they were out of the grouper and both etouffees. an early dinner crowd - we were almost the last table there at 9:30.

Oaken is always very consistent. Excellent drinks, very good food and good service. Last night was a little noisy and slow to receive our food because of the holiday bizarre, but overall still very good.
