- EErikMinneapolis - St. Paul •1 review5.0Dined 1 day agoI’d never been to Gyu-Kaku before, and was entirely pleased with it; a fun, interactive meal experience with family and friends. The food was quite good (particularly the spicy tofu chigae soup and steamed chili dumplings - out of this world!) We got the Gyu-Kaku feast for our party of six and it was just the right amount of food. The restaurant was surprisingly quiet for such a busy place. I had no problem chatting with everyone at our table. Our server George was incredible - attentive, friendly, and helpful. It was a bit chilly sitting next to the side door on a cold night, and the cooking tongs were a little short for the more thin-skinned in our group, but otherwise I have no complaints. We will definitely return!More infoGyu-Kaku Japanese BBQ - Minneapolis, MN | Lyndale & Lake (Lyn-Lake)Price: Expensive• Japanese• Uptown•4.7
- MMarkMinneapolis - St. Paul •6 reviews5.0Dined 5 days agoI went for lunch and had one of the lunch specials. I can't remember the name (pasta with a red sauce with wild boar). I chose solely because when my server was describing it, his eyes lit up for a second! I thought, if he got excited just describing it then I should try it! We paired the entree with one of the house Cabernets. Amazing! The server read my mind as he subtilty dropped off the dessert menu. I completed the meal with the chocolate torte and a coffee. Excellent way to finish! The service was flawless from the maitre 'd greeting me with a warm smile. My server was busperson was very attentive, warm and engaging. The only "downside" is the value. The bill was close to $100 for one, so not a "fast casual dining" but luxurious dining experience with supreme food and outstanding service!More infoZeloPrice: Moderate• Italian• Downtown / North Loop•4.8

- TThomasWisconsin •1 review5.0Dined on Nov 23, 2024Vibe, service and food were exceptional. Open space with close tables and music level made it quite loud inside. Our server was a real pro, she made great recommendations as we had many questions. We should have asked about the size of the 35$ tuna as it was shockingly small for the price.More infoBilly After DarkPrice: Moderate• Speakeasy• Downtown / Mill District•4.7
