    Loved the music! John Katchur is an amazing guitarist and songwriter. The service was ok... multiple people were attending to our table, with suddenly someone new and no consistency, and yet long gaps when no one showed up... There was only one option for hot sake and it wasn't very good. Miso soup was very mediocre but Sushi was delicious.

    We had not been to the Fish House in a while! Used to go all the time….we will make it our go to seafood restaurant again for sure! And it is close to home since we live in San Marcos! Scrumptious from start to finish! And portion size was appreciated greatly!

    It was not a crowded place because it was a Wednesday and it was 5 pm so happy hour was amazing!! My hubby had a chilli dog and I had a fish taco and we shared a very large pretzel. I had some yummy Cabernet and he had a margarita!! It was nice and pleasant!! Great prices and great food!! It also has expanded on the patio seating since we have been there last. Great place

    Our party of nine dined for lunch in the middle room, next to the bar. Hardly any other diners were there so we had the room all to ourselves, which was wonderful. The wait staff was excellent—very accommodating and kind. Everyone was quite happy with their meals. Two of us had the hanger steak with a wedge salad. All of it tasted great. The steak was very tasty and cooked to perfection. A few had a hamburger. Again, delicious. Everyone liked the assortment ment of desserts we ordered. My only complain—$37 for salad and a very small steak is quite pricey.
