Petit Trois Le Valley, the second outpost of Chef Ludo Lefebvre's beloved bistro, opened its doors in 2018 in Sherman Oaks. This larger location channels a lavish French Brasserie, with its marble bar, banquette lined dining room, and a Chef’s counter overlooking the open kitchen. The second dining room can be reserved for larger parties and private events. Since opening, Petit Trois has garnered praise from casual foodies and revered food critics. In 2015, Petit Trois was nominated for Best New Restaurant by the James Beard Foundation and in 2019 earned the Bib Gourmand designation upon the Michelin Guide’s return to Los Angeles. The Terrace at the famous Sunset Tower Hotel debuted a new look in May of 2018, featuring a refreshed outdoor dining experience with updated furnishings and an elegant new bar. The Tower Bar Restaurant has split views of the city from either side of the lobby. It offers a swank lounge, bar and an al fresco dining experience. Custom made banquettes line the windows that showcase an unparalleled view of the Los Angeles skyline. Art deco design influences include walnut with gold inlay trim in a subtle, muted color scheme.     We expected a special experience at the Tower Bar Restaurant this week, but we were pleasantly surprised by how much better it was than expected! The atmosphere was timeless and chic, the food was exceptional, and the service was beyond compare. It started at the front desk and was superb throughout our meal. We were never rushed, and were able to enjoy a long and relaxing brunch with multiple courses. The price was more reasonable than expected. And Angel our server was a true brand ambassador … he was knowledgeable, kind, entertaining, and made us want to not only return to the restaurant, but stay at the hotel the next time that we are in town. Thanks so much for a superb dining experience for the whole family. We can’t wait to come back again.

    Beautiful venue and really good food. The big miss was waiting and waiting for a new batch of mashed potatoes to come out. There were 8 of us waiting and sadly they never came. My food was cold by the time I decided to go back to my table. When I told our waiter Josh, he fetched some for our table of three. That was a big miss and that’s why I gave a less than five star on food. Luckily Josh and Kyle (who seated us) saved the day with their charm!
