Best Lunch Restaurants in Osprey

The Cheese Ravioli and a glass of Chianti were a delicious pairing for our annual luncheon. For dessert we had the spumoni ice cream covered in dark hard chocolate as well as the limoncello cake. The service was wonderful too!

Our waiter was attentive and the food was delicious. We always enjoy the mix of crackers/bread with butter/hummus and olive oil to start. We added the shrimp cocktail which were a good size of 5 shrimp for 2 of us to share. We enjoyed the fried shrimp perfectly coated and the Prime Rib was tenderly cooked to perfection. The side of Cole slaw, baked potato and asparagus was paired wonderfully. The 4 roses small batch select bourbon was really good and the white chocolate martini was a good mix of vodka and liqueur, with chocolate rim and the added touch of a Hershey kiss on the bottom.

What most distinguished our experience was our waitress Alyssa, who outperformed. I’ve been a server in the best restaurants in Santa Fe and Boston and can say that she was excellent, thoughtful, and knowing. It was also nice that Kaitlen checked on us and made sure we were happy. Food was terrific and the wine deal for lunch is unbeatable. Also, Alyssa was perfectly charming.

We were a party of 4 and everyones meal was excellent and the service was wonderful!

We ordered oysters which were good tasting but had to navigate around the pieces of shell and rock salt in them. The clam chowder was excellent. We had 4 in our party and 2 ordered the grouper, 1 ordered the hogfish and the other ordered the mahi mahi. Unfortunately we had a medical emergency develop and were only 1/2 way through our meal. What we had tasted was good. I cannot say enough about the staff and patrons who rushed to our aid and called 911 for us. They are surely to be commended and we thank them for their assistance. We would love to come back and give this restaurant another try someday when we return to Siesta Key.
