He got his usual chicken and waffles breakfast while I took in the delicious short rib risotto. A view of the beautiful churning of the reservoir in wintry weather and being nicely taken care of by the always suave Mr. Lonnie made for a wonderful after-church meal.More infoRick's Cafe BoatyardPrice: Moderate• Seafood• Pike Township•4.6

From the time you turn into the drive that takes you through the manicured grounds flanked by sculptures to the door of the estate that houses RH, you are transported to one of the most lovely places in Indy. The store itself covers every room with beautiful RH furniture, but the restaurant is spectacular. The menu has everything including different caviar service as well as a modern brunch service with expertly crafted drinks, espresso, and two types of freshly pressed juice drinks. The impossibly thin pancakes and their black Forrest bacon was unlike I’ve had anywhere. My wife had the avocado toast which was very hearty yet light with pickled onions and a salad of parsley and dill. We can’t wait to come back and see the handsome views (not to mention the outdoor furniture) in person when the weather is warmer. - KKendraIndiana •1 review5.0Dined 2 days agoWe splurge once a year to come here and it never disappoints. It’s not super fancy so we don’t feel out of place, but it’s a very nice place for a special date night. The food and drinks are always delicious. This visit I got the filet which was *chefs kiss* as always, but the brussel sprouts were where the meal really shined. The toasted ravioli appetizer was perfect. My husband loves the shrimp cocktail, with the signature famous cocktail sauce they share with their sister restaurant St. Elmo’s. If you’ve somehow never tried this gem, do yourself a favor and go. Worth every penny.More infoHarry & Izzy's - DowntownPrice: Moderate• Steakhouse• Downtown Indy•4.7

The cakes are delicious, so while the prices are high, you get what you pay for, and it's definitely worth it for a special occasion or if you just need the best piece of cake you could possibly get. This location is a bit small and cramped, but it's still decorated very thoughtfully and pretty; the ambiance and theming is excellent. I recommend the Raspberry Champaign Cake and the Carrot Cake, but I don't think you can miss. Oh, and the Coconut Latte blew my mind, if you like coconut and espresso!More infoThe Cake Bake Shop - Broad Ripple VillagePrice: Moderate• American• Broad Ripple / Meridian - Kessler•4.7
