- CCatherineVIPSan Francisco Bay Area •1 review5.0Dined todayOur experience was, as always, delightful. From the reservation process online, and calling the host/ess to say we were running 5-10 minutes late through paying our bill, everything was fabulous. Servers and expeditors/support staff are top notch! Personable, knowledgeable, efficient, accurate, and responsive. Even servers we have had before (but were not assigned to us) greeted us warmly and chatted briefly. The food was exceptional. My hubs and I split a special - rotisserie smoked New York steak and the romaine salad. Our grand had the kids rotisserie chicken. Everything was delivered hot and delicious. Bread, minced garlic, olive oil, and balsamic vinegar are always a hit. Water glasses were always topped off and cocktails and wine were perfect. Love the ambiance and various places to sit (outdoors, garden room, bar, dining room, and now it appears there is a bar facing the kitchen. Consistently great.More infoCafe Cruz Rosticceria & BarPrice: Moderate• Contemporary American• Soquel•4.7
- DDianaSan Francisco Bay Area •9 reviews5.0Dined 1 day agoThis dining experience was wonderful. Our servers were knowledgeable and helpful. My husband was able to taste a couple of different wines before making his choice. We shared an excellent, if not traditional, Caesar salad. The addition of roasted garlic and whole anchovy was very delicious. We each had a special fish entree. Halibut for my husband and trout for me. The sides that came with the entrees included Kale, lentils, with the trout and fennel, kale and some type of heirloom beans with the halibut. Everything was unique and very flavorful. The portions were large. we could have easily shared the trout and we did bring some of that home. The ambiance and the view of the wharf is lovely and we enjoyed the live music in the background. We had a truly memorable meal.More infoJack O'Neill Restaurant & LoungePrice: Expensive• Contemporary American• Santa Cruz•4.7
- JJacklynSan Francisco Bay Area •1 review5.0Dined 4 days agoWe made a reservation for 530pm. Out day wine tasting got done early so we made our way back to the resort. Had a dip in the hot tub before heading over to catch the tail end of sunset with the most spectacular view of the bay. The day, so we thought, couldn’t get any better. The bartender was fairly nice but the vibe was really good. Didn’t feel rushed and even took our drinks over to a fire pit on another patio. Really just a great spot especially for being at a hotel. Usually they are stale and boring. Not here, there was even live music.More infoThe View, a Treeside RestaurantPrice: Expensive• Contemporary American• Santa Cruz•4.1
