Butterjoint is a comfy bar and restaurant located in North Oakland. We got one of the specials, the scallops. Server failed to mention the cost was $60, way higher than any other entree on the main menu. Not cool to subtly gauge you customers. Fried Burara outstanding as was Not Your Grandma's Strawberry Pretzel dessert. Crab cakes very good. Great ambience. Very noisy. Need something that absorbs sound.

Exceptional, elegant, outstanding. Our waiter Gregory was pleasant, courteous, gracious, considerate, thoughtful, understanding, accommodating, attentive and professional. Every dish of the Feast of the Seven Fishes was exceptional. Chef was superb. Staff was superb. Waiter was superb. Bartender that prepared our Old Fashion Bourbon was the best of the best. We genuinely hope that everyone has the best of holidays.

I met a friend for dinner on a Thursday night and we had a great time catching up. The food is delicious, the service prompt, warm, and friendly, and the atmosphere cozy. Parking can be somewhat of a bear, but Lucca's is worth that relatively small inconvenience.
