Blacklock is a modern take of the Great British chophouse nestled in the corner of a Grade II listed textiles warehouse. We take the best meat in the country from the award-winning farmer and butcher Philip Warren in Cornwall. We cook chops simply over our charcoal grill with a little help from vintage Blacklock irons and serve it all up alongside cocktails from the trolley and wine on tap in our subterranean chop mecca. The welcome and staff helpfulness was 5 star. Food was excellent, apart from the pizza, which was not quite up to your normal standard, the base was underdone as if not cooked in a hot enough oven, but overall a great experience for my mothers 84th birthday, family get together

One of the best meals out I’ve had in ages. Blacklock might be my new favourite Manchester restaurant. I loved everything about it - low key, unpretentious but such high-quality. Friendly staff, efficient service. It’s really excellent.

Had the most outstanding experience at Hawksmoor. Me and my friend went as a late birthday treat us birthday and the staff were incredible our waitress went above and beyond to help us and make sure we had an amazing experience. This is the second time I have visited and service has withheld. The food was absolutely incredible and we are desperate to go back!
