Serving contemporary French food, this much-loved independent restaurant has been going strong for over 22 years. Before booking, please note the restaurant has both downstairs and upstairs. The same menu options are available on both floors. There is no lift upstairs. Re Tasting Menu Timings: At lunch you must book before 1.45pm, and at dinner before 8.45pm.     Harvey, our waiter was very attentive and showed an interest in the menu choices too making the selection process much easier for all. The setting of the restaurant is fabulous and overall it was such a pleasant lunch. I will be coming back again soon maybe even before Xmas if I can get in. Thanks again.

    We went for lunch for our wedding anniversary, as it is our favourite restaurant, and decided to have the tasting menu. The meal began with a complimentary, delicious butternut soup. Every course was beautiful - beautifully cooked and presented and the amount of food was very well judged. The wine pairings were very well matched and, when I said I didn't like chardonnay, another wine was willingly chosen. Service was friendly, but professional and we weren't rushed at all.

    Adult son wanted a "nice pizza" for birthday celebration - 6 adults, with some differing dietary requirements (veg, etc). All were catered for. Cocktails also. Pizzas were fantastic quality, Linguini, and Risottos were also one of the best had for a long while. Wasn't busy about half full, very good service, and a good night all round. We will be back!
