- DDonovanBirmingham/West Midlands (county) •2 reviews5.0Dined 2 days agoAn amazing food experience. Fine dining at a non fine dining price, I don't know how they do it. The food was amazingly good, there's no rush, the ambiance is so laid back and relaxing that time just disappears. It's my favourite restaurant in London and we've been coming here for at least 10 years and we don't live in London. The choice of wines is great as is the waiters knowledge. This place is amazing!!More infoLe VacherinPrice: Expensive• French• Chiswick•4.5
- MMarkVIPWashington, D.C. Area •18 reviews5.0Dined 3 days agoCORE is exceptional. We've been fortunate enough to have been to a significant number of Michelin 3 stars. We both agreed this is a top 5. It's hard to add anything meaningful to the prior positive reviews. I'll add a couple of items I haven't seen much in the reviews. First, my wife is a vegetarian and CORE accommodated that beautifully. Second, the price of CORE, is very fair, particularly when compared with other 3 stars. We both had the classic menu, drank a nice bottle of Malbec, had two cocktails and some cognac. The bill was less than $1,000 US. While that is still a lot of money for a meal, it's probably the least we've paid at the 20 plus 3 stars we have now been to. Finally, we were impressed that the founder was very visible and friendly to patrons throughout the evening. That's something we are increasingly seeing less of in 3 star restaurants. It was nice to be greeted by her as we walked by the kitchen. It seems ridiculous to give a review and not talk about the food at all. It is exceptional and I have no insights that other reviewers have not already provided. This is a 3 star restaurant in every respect.More infoCORE by Clare SmythPrice: Very Expensive• British• Notting Hill•4.9
- CCharlesLondon •5 reviews4.0Dined 4 days agoExcellent service from Mark. A lively and friendly atmosphere. Plenty of room on our table in the bar area. Really good quality cheese and bacon burger and not overly expensive. Good reports from others for the flat iron steak and the sea bass. Great selection of beers and other drinks. A proper community pub with a prime spot on the river. Highly recommended.More infoThe City BargePrice: Expensive• Gastro Pub• Kew•4.5
- TTonyLondon •2 reviews5.0Dined on Dec 28, 2024Simply excellent. It's like coming home after a day out in the wind and rain to the warm friendly embrace of Antonio and his team especially Marco who is new but a wonderful addition to the crew. The steaks are, well, perfect and cooked to the correct temperature as requested and talking of requests anyone who remembers the truffle parmisian chips missing from the menu (Please put them back on AWT) they can accommodated if required. Another mention must be the white chocolate cheesecake which to be described as sublime is an understatement of biblical proportions. Were emigrating soon and we will miss this small friendly excellent restaurant which for many years has been our favourite anywhere on our extensive travels over the years. Thank you, Antonio and your team, for the years of making our lives that bit better.More infoGrill Off the GreenPrice: Expensive• British• Kew•4.8
