Best Lunch Restaurants in Charing Cross

We were on time for our reservation but they were running late. It was extremely busy and they said the busiest day ever. Obviously the run up to Christmas there were a few parties. They asked us to wait outside undercover with some heaters overhead and blankets if we wanted to use them. Gave us a drinks menu but then came out with a glass of sparkling wine for each of us as they were late which was a nice touch. We waited for about 15 mins so no problem. Came and sat us the rest was brilliant. The only reason I gave it 4 for ambience is because it was so noisy but it was not there fault everybody was enjoying themselves too much🤣 Thank you for a great experience.

The food was great and the place is lovely. Our waiter was a very lovely however she forgeted to place 2 of our orders . We need to reorder . But all good fun.

Dining at the ‘Kitchen Table’ was a great experience watching the working kitchen. We enjoyed a taster menu with explanations from the different chefs who prepared the dishes. We had a wonderful host and the Sommelière had great knowledge and understood my guests palates. Wonderful experience.

This was a last minute splurge on a recent quick trip to London from the States. So happy we did! The staff, first off, were all so kind and professional. The place was just lovely. The perfect combination of cozy, at-home and luxurious. The food! Every dish was beautiful to the eye and devilishly delicious. I wish we were not rushed, due to tickets to the theatre, but the staff was very attentive to not rushing us, while still keeping us on schedule. Each course was better than the last, and they even sent us off with a take-away, “for breakfast tomorrow.” We will definitely be back to Frog on our next trip, for a more relaxed, better to luxuriate in every course experience. Loved it!!

Met all our expectations in terms of special festive ambience! So gorgeous! Service was attentive and helpful, and our lunch wasn’t rushed in any way. Food was delicious but unfortunately not hot. We didn’t mind because our experience was wonderful overall. Treat yourself to this special restaurant and you won’t forget it.
