Enzo Rosano grew up in a town just outside of Naples, Italy. His fondest memories of his childhood are centered around his mother’s cooking and the spirited meals he shared with his eight siblings. Mama Carmela’s amazing cooking kept her children close to home throughout their childhood and young adulthood. Her culinary influence also played a role in Enzo’s decision to enroll in the Scuola Alberghieria Culinary and Hospitality program in Naples. Upon completion of his culinary training, Enzo landed a job as bartender at Jean-Georges Vongerichten’s Vong’s in London. Next was a stop as bar manager at The Berkeley Knightsbridge, a luxury property also in London. Reve is such a local gem. Excellent service, prompt and efficient. They nailed the moules frites and and scallop risotto. Very easy to make pretty good, it takes skill to make it sublime. A round of clicks for the chef!

What a treat! I was honored to be included in their soft opening Thursday night, before they reopened to the public on Friday. Food was incredible, with generous portions. From the carpaccio to the ribs, coleslaw, Brussel sprouts, fries - my mouth is watering just thinking about it two days later. Beautiful wine to go with it. And it was topped off with a delectable citrus mini bunt cake that was light as a feather accompanied by an amazing Chantilly cream. Service was amazing - attentive but not overly so. It is wonderful to have Bounty Hunter back. The renovations looked great! Will definitely be there for dinner again soon!

The food was outstanding. Not many people in restaurant, but enough. Only one person serving the tables…NOT ENOUGH! He tried and was gracious but couldn’t meet the demand well. The music was extremely loud. All that said, we would absolutely return!

My wife and I enjoyed our meals. My wife ordered the carnitas bowl. She noted it was very flavorful a good portion of food. I ordered the carne asada wood fired meal. The steak was just excellent. I enjoyed building my own small burritos with Mexican rice and pinto beans. I also ordered one of the house margaritas. It was good, I like the salt along the rim, but it came in a small glass. I guess I am used to larger glass when I order a margarita, but other than wanting a more ample pour, it was also a good drink. We will be back for the Tomahawk and share that meal. We enjoyed our pretty thanksgiving meal at Rancho Cantina.
