Best Lunch Restaurants in Downingtown

We had a wonderful evening and enjoyed the low noise level and the service was fantastic. Delicious dinner!

The Chop House is one of the finest restaurants in the Five County area... period! I've yet to have an "average" lunch or dinner.

We are at Anthony’s weekly and the staff never disappoints. Food is always good. Last time we were there was for my son’s Birthday Dinner. From two people to seven, service is always seamless. Highly recommend Anthony’s! If it’s a casual date or a family dinner Anthony’s is the place to go!

What an unexpected and pleasant surprise this restaurant was, nestled within the old Eagle Tavern. The ambience and decor really aligned with the broader theme of a southern farm to table kitchen. The cocktails were spectacular, especially if you like whiskey, because they have an incredible selection. The sweet potato hush puppies were perfectly fried, and the honey and sauce were delicious. We ordered the short rib and salmon, and the chef was able to make adjustments to the vegetables to address an allergy issue. Both plates were licked completely clean because everything was absolutely delicious. We also got the skillet cornbread and while it was two cut slices on a skillet and not an actual skillet, the flavor was delicious. The only adjustment I would suggest there is the butter was chilled, which made it hard to spread. I wasn’t as excited about the dessert selection but honestly, I didn’t need dessert because the meal was just spectacular. Special shout out to our server, Maddie, who was perfectly attentive without being ever present.

We have been to Osaka many times for both dine-in and carry-out. The restaurant is spotlessly clean, and the wait staff is terrific. Everyone is so kind and helpful. The food is always perfect, hot, and presented wonderfully. The sushi is flawless and presented nicely. My family loves everything there. Sometimes, it can be hard to find a place like this, and we hope they do well (I think they will) Respectfully, Sue
