Best Lunch Restaurants in Clark

We were pleasantly surprised with the quality and value of the food. My husband had the octopus salad and the steak and eggs The steak was perfectly cooked and octopus was plentiful, tender and delicious. I had the kale salad and the New England clam chowder pot pie. Both were delicious just the right portion. Our waitress was friendly, professional and attentive. A great experience overall.

It was a late (9 pm) evening decision, to go out for a light bite, post a Jack and Jill Baby Shower. Where to go to get some healthy fare like salad, oysters, mussels and clams? Aha, La Griglia was the answer. And so we were off. As always we were greeted with big smiles and a “great to see you”. The service and food was spectacular. .Be it a quick bite or a 3 course dinner, choosing La Griglia is always a great choice!

We had Valentine’s Day dinner at Sweetwaters. The food was excellent. I enjoyed my lobster tails tails, and my husband enjoyed his spaghetti and meatballs. Sweetwaters is our favorite place to eat whether a holiday or a normal visit.

It’s our first time at this place, even though we’ve been seeing it for over two decades. In short, we were quite pleasantly surprised by the taste of the food, as it was light but very flavorful - not as salty as we thought we’d get from almost any Italian restaurant we’ve been to, some of which are very good in their own right. However, this lightness in taste stood out, be it the prosciutto in the salad or the clams in pasta. We’ll come back for sure.
