At the end of the 19th Century the timber framed building was dismantled and shipped piece by piece to its current home in the stunning grounds of Woburn Park. In January 2014 Paris House was bought by the businesses’ award winning Executive Chef Phil Fanning. The restaurant is managed as a family business by Fanning and his wife Claire.The restaurant’s tasting menus are based around dishes constructed with natural flavour combinations using the best seasonal produce available. The staff were absolutely lovely. I made a last minute booking for my daughter’s birthday and they bent over backwards to accommodate my needs. The high tea was super made very special by the waitress . Would definitely go back

Enjoyed a very pleasant afternoon at The Holt, afternoon tea was lovely, nice atmosphere and decorated with Christmas tress and a lovely fire. Nice to have warm scones as some places do not do this, and nice sandwiches and cakes. We needed to do a last minute change with the sandwich's from their menu, and the were very obliging to do so.

All staff extremely happy, friendly and attentive. Felt that the food could have been a bit hotter. Must admit that the roast beef was quite tough.

We’ve been dining for 3 nights at the Holt hotel and every time it was delicious and the service 10 out 10, a bit expensive but everything is I guess these days. Highly recommend the restaurant and the hotel! 🥰
