Best Lunch Restaurants in Yeovil

Beautifully cooked local good quality food and ingredients. Exceptional service with knowledgeable friendly staff. Not pretentious at all. Made to feel very welcome from the start. A rustic feel with the decor....but not here for the walls...it's all about the food 😉. House white and red wines....sublime. would thoroughly recommend. Great coffee too! Oh, and the cheesy chip appetisers.....to die for. Fabulous first time visit....we will be back, thank you for a Sunday dinner with a difference

Penn Mill is our new ‘go to’ venue. They have a great range of drinks, the regular menu is fantastic value for money and they keep it fresh with a good selection of specials. Their Carvery on Wednesday and Sunday is also outstanding value for money and is proper home cooked grub!! We eat and drink here regularly as the atmosphere is lovely, all are welcome and the staff are super attentive and always smiling and willing to help. We have recommended Penn Mill to friends and if we have visitors we will always visit Penn Mill for a drink and eats!!

Obviously like with anywhere else of prices for everything could be lower then that would make it better. Places get so busy, yet, they keep the prices up. However, despite that, service, food and entertainment was great. Will be back again.

The roast was very tasty, particularly the sirloin beef. Sadly the service was a bit slow as they were so understaffed so we had to ask for drinks again. Recommend though!
