Best Lunch Restaurants in Ballard

We were seated a bit before our actual reservation time and next to the windows with a view of Elliot Bay. Our server, Abbey , was so personable and professional and just delightful. We had the antipasto to start along with delicious garlic bread. My husband had the sole and I had the celery pear soup. It was all delicious and we felt the service was impeccable.

This was such a memorable dinner, for no reason other than great food, excellent service and beautiful ambiance. No special occasion, just a really killer experience. Will absolutely be back.

Main arrived before starter. Waitstaff never asked about quality of food. Restaurant wasn’t crowded and seemed understaffed.

Arrived from Idaho, Oregon and Bellingham to celebrate a 70th Birthday. Walked right in and sat down for our 5 o’clock reservation for 4. Delicious clam dip and chips starter. Ordered large sea scallops over creamed corn (delicious and just the right amount), seafood salad (also a perfect size, but a tad salty), Muscovy duck and braised short ribs. Both had an alternative sauce because the advertised sauce Dixie Bourguignon wasn’t ready yet and it was an excellent substitution (took some of each home). We received more of the wine we ordered as compensation for the inconvenience and both our server Tea H and the maitred were very apologetic and enjoyable to talk with. Birthday beignets with Bourbon ice cream and sauce (complimentary and plenty for all) and an order of vanilla bean cheese cake we shared also.Thanks for making the celebration so special .I’ve never had a bad time here, totally worth the cost.

Ambiance was very lively but romantic, the service was fantastic and our server was great. Drinks were delicious and the food was amazing, we tried the whipped feta, the chicken and the lamb kabob, and we loved it all. The dessert we tried was the pistachio Dubai tart, it was very rich and complex, and scrumptious. Would come here again, me and my girlfriend went here for Valentine’s Day, and it was a great spot for that, very classy
