Best Lunch Restaurants in Bahamas

We sat in back courtyard which was beautiful with great soft music playing. Everything was good but not 5 star especially the service. Our table of four received our appetizers one at a time in 5 minutes not together. So we all waited for the others. They sat appetizer plates across the charger plates which did not stay stable. The main meals were good and desert was delicious.

We visited at 11am on a Sunday for brunch. I was initially apprehensive when we made the reservation because it’s a Japanese hibachi restaurant and I wasn’t completely sure they’d serve breakfast food. The ambiance is amazing (I’m sure it’s a GREAT setting for lunch or dinner too.) For us, it was nice and quiet and the outside seating overlooking the harbor (Paradise Island and Atlantis in the distance) was very pleasant. Philip was our server. We shared an omelet, waffles and had a bloody mary. Everything was very good. The menu had a good variety of options. We stayed about an hour or so and when we asked they arranged a cab for us when it came time to leave. Overall great experience, can’t wait to go back for sushi or hibachi!

A cozy spot with limited seating but incredible food and a menu full of variety. Great value and highly recommended for a memorable dining experience!

Solemar is a great restaurant! Food was excellent! We had a table reservation but ended up staying at the bar and eating dinner. Service at the bar very attentive! The only minor issue is Solemar allows smoking in the outdoor space. There was a guy sitting two seats down from that was smoking….thankfully the smell wasn’t bad. The view is amazing and Solemar is a great restaurant.
