Best Kid Friendly Restaurants in Mortlake

Verace is the place to go to for the most authentic Italian pizza that you can get without flying to italy. I would come here every week if I lived closer to them! I always order the diavola and it never lets me down, plus their home made chilli oil is to die for! Family run, Italian owners too so you know it’s legit. Family friendly, not stuffy and easy parking.

Everything was fabulous - recommend the tuna carpaccio and Linguine with Prawns, as well as the calamari and octopus salad. Friendly service and wonderful Margarita Cocktails topped off a great night with my daughter. We will be returning.

Amazing seafood platter for 2 . The battered fish was excellent as it was light and airy. Everything was so fresh . The only slight negatives the mornay sauce on the lobster was a little thick but overall was still a 9.9/10 . Highly recommend.

Excellent local restaurant by the water. We were given the private room for our group of 11 which was a lovely surprise. Gordon, who looked after us on the day was lovely and made sure we had everything we needed. He also contacted us beforehand and they were very accommodating. The food was all really good though a guest mentioned the lamb was a bit dry. The sizes of the mains were all very generous and we were all so full we couldn’t fit any dessert in. But we still had to try a couple to share. The decor of the place is modern and casual though a bit of soundproofing would help with the noise levels.
