Best Kid Friendly Restaurants in Siesta Key

We had an amazing dinner - the food was incredible as was the service. We were able to take advantage of happy hour and the wine was great quality, the other cocktails and drinks we ordered were delicious as well. The service was very prompt, and our server was very friendly, courteous and attentive without being smothering. The dishes we ordered were all delicious, fresh and creatively presented. We were very impressed and will be back!

This was our first time dining here and we had a great experience. Our waiter (I'm sorry I can't remember his name at this moment) tall young man with beautiful blond hair was great! He helped us understand the menu items and recommended some great entrees and we were not disappointed! Our entrees was delicious and definitely the reason we will be back! The dessert (chocolate mousse) was just ok, but not bad, just not what we thought it would be, but the overall experience was wonderful, the live music and ambiance was beautiful. We will be back!

So glad we found this gem while vacationing in Sarasota. Went on a Saturday night and only made the reservation that afternoon. We were given the choice of outside or in, and chose outside. It was a beautiful March evening for us Bostonians and the scene on the street was lively. Cool cars cruising Main St and lots of people strolling the sidewalk. Shared escargots with baguette. I ordered traditional buckwheat crepe with cheese, leeks, and tomato - came with crisp salad. A chilled glass of chardonnay (good pour) was perfect. Husband had lamb shank came with lentils - very healthy portions. He said it was probably the best lamb shank he ever had. They have a french bakery onsite and we bought almond croissants for Sunday morning breakfast - they were delicious!

We ordered oysters which were good tasting but had to navigate around the pieces of shell and rock salt in them. The clam chowder was excellent. We had 4 in our party and 2 ordered the grouper, 1 ordered the hogfish and the other ordered the mahi mahi. Unfortunately we had a medical emergency develop and were only 1/2 way through our meal. What we had tasted was good. I cannot say enough about the staff and patrons who rushed to our aid and called 911 for us. They are surely to be commended and we thank them for their assistance. We would love to come back and give this restaurant another try someday when we return to Siesta Key.
