Best Kid Friendly Restaurants in Montgomery

We had a reservation and it was crowded but we were seated right away. Drink order came pretty quickly - I wish you offered an option of 2 wine pour sized. I had the chopped salad with chicken - ordered dressing on the side and came as ordered. Good mix of ingredients in the salad but chicken portion was small - maybe 3 oz. Club sandwich was well stacked. Staff was friendly, watered refilled often, service prompt for such a busy night.

I had left the doctor’s office and needed cheering up and I remembered the Taft Museum Café called “Lindner family café” which I found was difficult to fine on OPENTABLE. I made a reservation for noon this Monday (Sunday and Monday the museum is free admission) and the light coming into the café from the garden was beautiful and soul lifting. I sat by a large window streaming beautiful light on flowers sitting on a tablecloth. I was having a 19th century experience which museums should give us. The service was charming and helpful. I order an egg frittata and glass of white wine. However, I am not sure the title on the menu. I cook for my wife Sunday mornings, so I did note to the service that the dish was delicious. I described to her patient or interested ears how the dish was delicious and detailed how I thought the disk was constructed. To my surprise when the cultured service returned with the check, she brought with her the chef construction of the dish and some secrets with her for me. The chef is excellent and thoughtful, and I will try to remake the dish for my love this Sunday. I rate the experience 100%. For dessert I visited the Rayburn portrait of Jane Fraser Tytler. The food was great. Our server was terrific. And as usual, we thoroughly enjoyed ourselves.

Our dinner at Kinneret Grill on Valentine's Day was wonderful. We ordered the short ribs special and chicken schnitzel; both were delicious. We particularly enjoy the pleasant, relaxing ambience of Kinneret.

Food was great. Waiter was great and was always checking on us.
