- LLyndaSan Francisco Bay Area •1 review4.0Dined 1 day agoThe food was great. The service was great. But you've got to do something about the bathrooms. This is the third time I've eaten there with a friend, the third time my friend had to use the bathroom (long drive home), and the third time it's been worse than disgusting. This time she found clogged toilets, one toilet smeared with menstrual blood, and flushing mechanisms that don't work. I have to wonder if the kitchen is as filthy as the bathroom. It's hard to reconcile this situation with the "healthy" reputation of TFK. Not sure what else to say as this is the third time I've commented on this. I've gotten 2 previous messages promising to address. And you are clearly unwilling to do anything to rectify the situation.More infoTrue Food Kitchen - Palo AltoPrice: Expensive• American• Palo Alto•4.2

- SSteveSan Francisco Bay Area •1 review5.0Dined on Dec 13, 2024Overall, excellent. Just a couple comments: First, the appetizers came out very quickly (a good thing TM) but they beat our initial drinks (wine and beer) by a good 10 minutes. Second, I ordered the filet mignon "medium" because I had been at a Las Vegas steakhouse recently where "medium rare" was barely warm meat. But here the steak came out cooked truly medium and on a very hot plate. So if you like medium rare, you can trust them to do it right, I think. No complaints about how they cooked my steak; just saying I was too conservative in how I ordered it. All food was excellent; service very attentive. It's a louder place but by the end, it had emptied out and quieted down. We were there 6:30 to 9:00 p.m. on a Thursday. If it wasn't quite so expensive, we'd go more often.More infoFleming's Steakhouse - Palo AltoPrice: Very Expensive• Steakhouse• Palo Alto•4.4
