- SShannonVIPWashington, D.C. Area •49 reviews5.0Dined 1 day agoThe free range brick chicken with a slightly tart but sweet lemon sauce was a great choice for a cold rainy day. Served with a side of mashed potatos and steamed brocoli, it definitely met the need for a comforting meal. My server, Olive, was very attentive, ensuring that I capped my experience with a hot tea.More infoCIRCA at Foggy BottomPrice: Moderate• American• Foggy Bottom•4.6
- GGeseniaWashington, D.C. Area •1 review5.0Dined 2 days agoThe place was very small but the ambience was very pleasant. The food was phenomenal and staff were very friendly and knowledgeable about the place. The food took the show because everything tasted so good. We went for their Valentine’s Day five course dinner. We started off with the honey rosemary cornbread, delicious and perfectly balanced. Then we had the melon salad and the Caesar salad, they both were remarkably delicious. Then we had the charred oysters and stuffed shrimp, cooked beautifully. For our main course we both had the seafood risotto and the scallops were cooked to perfection. I’ve been to five star/Michelin star restaurants and they’ve never been cooked to such perfection like this. For dessert we had the peach cobbler pudding and creme brulee cheesecake. The bread pudding had great taste but not much of peach flavor and the texture was a bit on the dryer side to my liking. The cheesecake was the perfect combination. Overall this place is a must go to. I will be recommending it to everyone and will visit again. Thank you for all you do!More infoFlavorturePrice: Expensive• American• Woodley Park•4.2
- SStevenVIPUtah •8 reviews5.0Dined 2 days agoI can’t get over how incredible our server was. Elvis immediately acknowledged that we were vegetarians and had accommodations made for even the fixed Valentine’s Day menu. We truly appreciate it. And not to forget, but the food was incredible. I would go back and eat an entire bowl of the beet salataMore infoZaytinya - DCPrice: Expensive• Mediterranean• Penn Quarter•4.7
- AArcherWashington, D.C. Area •24 reviews5.0Dined on Feb 2, 2025It was Restaurant week and a perfect opportunity to return to one of out favorites. We began with a glass of wine, Carmenere for me and and Rose Figuiere for her. For starters I had Salmon Tartar and my girlfriend had Roasted Beet Carpaccio. Both were beautifully presented and my dish was delicate with a variety of complex flavors. For my main coarse I had the Brazed Lamb Shank. It was tender falling off the bone and easily separated with a fork. I must say the portion was generous and delicious. I wound up taking some home for a second meal and to leave room for desert. My girlfriend had Pan Seared Branzino which was also a generous serving and delicious. My desert was the Tiramisu. My girlfriend who is not a big eater let me have her desert to go along with my take out. The service was prompt and cordial with Rosi as our serve who was attentive without being obtrusive. Ambiance is warm and comfortable with windows overlooking a little section of Rock Creek Park below Connecticut AvenueMore infoNew HeightsPrice: Expensive• American• Woodley Park•4.6
