Best Restaurants with a Happy Hour in University City

Another terrific dinner from our favorite seafood restaurant. Everyone ordered the trout. I love salmon but my wife had been talking about the trout all day -- thank you, Cathy and thank you Oceano. The Brussels sprouts are the best in town -- just the vegetable and seasoning, no bacon or other coverups and not a hint of bitterness. We count on Oceano for a friendly, comfortable, and thoroughly enjoyable evening out, and they've never failed to deliver.

We always love Brasserie but this was extra special. My wife and I celebrated our anniversary and I dropped a note about that in the reservation request. Our server, Jessica, helped provide a great experience, We had a beautiful spot in the restaurant (flowers and sparkling wine awaiting), great found and drink, and another reminder of why this is one of our favorite spots. Add this place to our list!

Every thing we had was amazing! The beef Wellington was phenomenal! Also the short ribs were good just needed a bit more sauce and was a tad bit dry. Espresso martini 🍸 was a great choice it was the perfect balance! I can’t wait to try this place again!

First time there, will be back, Service was fantastic and food was very good. Found a new wine that may take me to Sonoma to research....Highly recommend for a couple or small group. We went with another couple and had a great experience over all.

Super friendly staff, especially our server "Bear L". Our first time back in about 2 yrs but we'll return sooner!
