Best Restaurants with a Happy Hour in Surprise

Our food and waitstaff were excellent. In prior visits, the waitstaff was not knowledgeable about the food. Sedona did a great job knowing about the dishes and answering our questions. Food was very good and very large portions!! Very noisy table next to us.

Pizza was outstanding. Our waiter, Chris was very personable and so helpful. Happy hour options for appetizers and beverages were some of the best we have seen. We will be back!

The food selection and value is excellent. We took advantage of two Wednesday specials too( half price bottles of wine & dinner for two). Our server (Dana) and entire server staff very attentive throughout our evening as always.

We recently celebrated our anniversary at Cooper’s Hawk and couldn’t have chosen a better place for such a special occasion. Having also celebrated our birthdays there last year, this visit further solidified why we keep coming back. Our server, Ivy, was exceptional—professional, attentive, and genuinely warm. She went above and beyond to make our experience memorable. Since it was our anniversary, we were treated to complimentary glasses of sparkling wine, which were absolutely delicious. I’m already planning to order a glass on our next visit! The bread was irresistible, so much so that we devoured two loaves. Our meal started with house salads, which were a highlight thanks to the homemade dressings. I had the Italian vinaigrette while my husband had the honey mustard, and both were so good we debated over which one was better. For our entrées, we ordered from the lunch menu. My husband had the salmon, and I chose the chicken piccata. Both dishes were flavorful and filling—I even brought half of mine home for later. To top it all off, Ivy surprised us with two truffles each (one dark chocolate and one white chocolate). It was such a thoughtful touch and a delightful end to our meal. We saved a couple of truffles to savor later that evening, extending the enjoyment of an already wonderful experience. Cooper’s Hawk has become our go-to spot for celebrations, and for good reason. From the impeccable service to the delicious food and thoughtful extras, every visit feels special. We highly recommend it to anyone looking for a fantastic dining experience!
