- LLaurievipLos Angeles •6 reviews5.0Dined 1 day agoWe were greeted, seated and then treated to a lovely dining experience. We started with a couple of the specialty cocktails-Romarin and Nouveau Basilic: their pour was generous as our drinks lasted through our meals. A bonus of a basket of bread was brought to our table, such a rarity! Baguette, sourdough and what seamed a seasonal bread with cranberry and walnuts with beurre---seemed such a treat! Our waiter was attentive and made well informed dinner suggestions after asking us our preferences and we enjoyed the beef bourguignon; duck a l'orange and roasted chicken. The background music was set at a perfect level and the tracks played were well selected. All in all we thoroughly enjoyed our evening here.More infoContinental MidtownPrice: Moderate• American• Center City•4.7

My only complaint, one that I have with MANY restaurants, is the noise level. Once the restaurant started to fill up, it became much more difficult for us to hear each other. We will go back again, just trying to avoid crowded times!More infoAleksandarPrice: Expensive• Contemporary European• Center City•4.6
- TTimCincinnati / Dayton •5 reviews5.0Dined 5 days agoCharming re-creation of an English Pub. English Pub food has gotten much better than it once was, and The Dandelion's food was excellent. From the Dandelion salad to the Root vegetable soup to the Rabbit Pie, all excellent. Our server (I regret I've forgotten her name) was perfect - friendly, efficient, professional. Only negative (for us) was the noise level - we ate upstairs during the lunch rush, and it was busy and noisy with energetic conversations with several tables of 6 or so surrounding us, which of course has pros and cons. But still highly recommended. We did not inquire if a quieter table was available - I think it may have been.More infoThe DandelionPrice: Moderate• Gastro Pub• Center City•4.7

General commentary for most wait staff these days and a pet peeve of mine- like many others says “are we” when asking “we diners” a question. Not sure who instructed wait staff to say “we” instead of “you” but it’s incorrect. They are not at table with “us.” Endeavoring to Include themselves in the diner’s experience is overly familiar, incorrect and at times condescending. Nonetheless, They work hard. Tip well!More infoEstia - PhiladelphiaPrice: Very Expensive• Greek• Center City•4.8
