- HHeatherlyniNew York City •2 reviews4.0Dined 3 days agoIt was not crowed for a Saturday night. We sat at the bar. The bartender was very attentive. The food came out fast. The corn rice ball were good. Definitely needed the sauce. Not very moist. The 1/2 baked Chicken- presentation was nice. Plenty of Vegetables. Over all the chicken was over cooked and dry. At 10pm a DJ started. It got very loud and this particular DJ was ok. Each week is a different DJ, so you won’t know if you will like the music they spin or not. Another plus about this place is the kitchen is open. Till 11:30 on Saturdays. That hard to find in this area.More infoDonJitoPrice: Expensive• Latin / Spanish• Mamaroneck•4.6

- GGeorgeNew York City •6 reviews5.0Dined 5 days agoWe found this restaurant on Open Table’s app and decided to give it a try. The food is excellent. I had the Brick Pressed Chicken with a side order of truffle fries. The salsa verde with the roasted lemon sauce is delicious. My wife had the Pumpkin Ravioli as an entree. My wife really enjoyed the sweetness of the ravioli and brown butter sauce it came in. This is definitely a place we will come back too.More infoTown House Kitchen + DrinksPrice: Moderate• American• New Rochelle•4.7

- NNicoleNew York State •1 review5.0Dined on Nov 15, 2024My husband took me to Averna this week to celebrate my birthday. It was, by far, the best dining experience we've had since we moved to New York last year. The restaurant is upscale, but cozy and we felt at home here. From the greeting to the goodbye, the service was as amazing as the food. The entire staff made us feel like they really wanted to take care of us; the water glasses always full, attentive, but unobtrusive wait staff and bussers and the owner was a great host to everyone. Hubby had a beautiful ribeye and I had a gorgeous filet mignon; both cooked to medium rare perfection. We ordered maple bacon Brussels sprouts (addictively good), lobster mac & cheese ("OMG" good!) and grilled asparagus for the sides we shared. We started off with the light and delicious filet mignon carpaccio for our appetizer and for dessert we had coffee and split a caramel toffee cake. I'm not a big sweets person, but that cake was flipping amazing and the perfect way to end a birthday. I can't wait for our next visit. I've got my eye on the branzino!More infoAverna Italian SteakhousePrice: Very Expensive• Steakhouse• Rye•4.9
