Umi Sake House is a unique Japanese cuisine restaurant in the Belltown area of Seattle featuring the highest quality seafood available in the Northwest, a large izakaya-style tapas menu, and boasting a sake list of over 60 imported Japanese bottles.     We come here regularly because we always like the atmosphere, food quality and excellent service. We brought 4 out of town guests for dinner yesterday. One of my guests has a severe dairy sensitivity. The staff was extremely conscientious and attentive in reviewing what the kitchen could do to accommodate her including ensuring all requested dishes were both dairy free as well as having no risk of cross-contamination. This is a very important consideration for those with food sensitivity. The execution was great. I had the lamb shank which was huge and delicious. Our guests had a wonderful (and uneventful) meal. Thank you.

    I find the food in Seattle to be incredibly underwhelming so I was a bit leery about going to yet another restaurant in the city. I am glad I did because the food at Cutters was fantastic. This is the first restaurant I have ever been to in Seattle that I would actually go back to (and happily) The food, service, ambiance, and view are all terrific.
