Best Quality Daughter houses a vibrant, chic décor and new, unique Asian-American menu. In 2018, chef Jennifer Hwa Dobbertin, wanting to address the sparsity of Asian-American female chefs in South Texas, developed a new concept through a series of pop-up dinners called Best Quality Daughter with fellow chef Anne Ng and artist Jennifer Ling Datchuk. Today Best Quality Daughter is located in the historic Mueller House at the Pearl Brewery. Curated by chef Jennifer Hwa Dobbertin, Best Quality Daughter's menu takes inspiration from her travels and the comfort food of her youth as a second-generation Chinese-American.

This was our third or fourth time there and we loved having our corner booth and our waitress was spectacular… The food really hooked everyone and we had a lovely reunion dinner, with friends and family flying in to San Antonio for the holiday week

The ambiance is beautiful. My husband and I only had three appetizers and they were more than enough to fill us and they were exceptional. Yes it is pricey but you are paying for the whole experience. It was worth it.

We had a wonderful evening celebrating a birthday at TenFold at the Kimpton Santo. The staff had reserved an area in the center of the restaurant for our group of about 25 people which allowed everyone to socialize comfortably while enjoying the view from the rooftop. The space itself is very tastefully done and the atmosphere is very inviting with a sophisticated mood enhanced by great music choices and good lighting. Despite the cool weather, everyone was very comfortable because of the patio heaters. Service was where TenFold really shined, though. Multiple staff members assisted our group and drinks were served very promptly and professionally. The staff did a great job managing a few different tabs, no easy feat for a group so large. Most of all, they were willing to go the extra mile to make a special evening. The bartenders created a cocktail with sparkling candles to honor the birthday and the manager even went as far as to go downstairs to get a bottle of wine from the property's other restaurant, Dean's, so we could enjoy something other than the handful of wines offered at TenFold. Tenfold is a great new addition to Southtown and Downtown and will surely be enjoyed by locals and visitors alike. It is a great spot for celebrating with a group, grabbing a drink after work, or enjoying a romantic night out. Everyone in our group is already looking forward to coming back soon.

Host and bartender were extremely knowledgeable and enlightening in conversation. The host provided us with a wealth of information about the history of the building and was friendly and well spoken. Our bartender was just as friendly and attentive. He knew his craft well and provided us with good recommendations for libations and fare. We only had appetizers and drinks but they did not disappoint. The bean and cheese nachos were excellent, esp when our bartender suggested the spicy avocado cream sauce as an accompaniment. It definitely had a little kick, but it was not overpowering. The chicken in the quesadillas was probably some of the best grilled chicken I have ever eaten. I will be back to try the chicken on its own! My BF said the house margarita on the rocks was great (he had two) and I liked the sangria, but I will admit, I did not order a second. It was a bit bland, however, I appreciate that they made it fresh. The atmosphere is lively and the building has been beautifully restored and renovated to modern standards, but still keeps the warm aesthetics of its former days as the Liberty Bar.
