Best Restaurants with a Happy Hour in Flat Rock

We had an absolutely great evening! The food was superb, and Gary did an awesome job. Everything we had to eat was well prepared and the pacing of the meal was just right. The ONLY thing I would recommend would be to dial the violin player down about 2 clicks in volume. His music was beautiful, but just was a bit too loud.

Great vegan options! The food was delicious and our waitress Karyn was extremely nice.

Garrett was our server and he was very nice, he broke the menu down really well and easily and let us know what the specials were. The drinks we had were really flavorful and strong (in a good way). The Paella I had was really good, and so was the spicy lobster roll. My girlfriend had a spicy lobster pasta and her opinion it needed a little more heat and cream to the sauce. Overall, we had a really nice time and would definitely come back

Food and drinks were good. Enjoyed Happy Hour promos with cheap drinks and deals on apps. Spicy margs were great! Ate the beef tips, empanada, two sushi rolls, two tacos, and gelato and affagata for dessert. Highlights were the beef tips and the grilled halloumi taco. Sushi was very good as well Disappointed in the mushroom taco, which had a very heavy mustard/horseradish flavour with the sauce and the salted caramel chocolate gelato, which tasted more like chocolate brownie ice cream. Server started off very strong, then didn’t see him much and waited long towards the end of the meal. Hair on my espresso cup, which he saw me pull off. Asked for sugar with it but replied that most people don’t ask for it. Drank half without and came back to offer sugar, which I no longer needed. Artwork on walls is cool, but ambiance feels kind of cold. Reminds me of a bowling alley almost, for some reason. Overall, a few small issues but would visit again as the positives outweighed the negatives.

I have always had great food at Republica, last night was not an exception. Brought family with me who had never been and they loved it as well! Baked Brie appetizer and shrimp app were delicious. My ribs were great, sauce was thick and flavorful with just the right amount of zip and tang. The burgers, beef and lamb, others had looked wonderful and were reported to be outstanding. We were stuffed, but had to split a piece of the day’s homemade dessert, lemon cake with cream cheese frosting. I am so glad we did. It was lemony, moist, dense, and the frosting was a perfect compliment to the lemony cake itself. The service was welcoming, attentive, knowledgeable and pleasant. 10 out of 10 for certain.
