Izakaya Den is Denver’s popular Japanese gastropub, modeled after the lively after hours establishments found throughout Japan. The restaurant is located on South Pearl Street and is the second restaurant of the Kizaki brothers, founders and owners of Sushi Den.     The staff is always very friendly and so kind. The sushi is always top notch and melts in your mouth. The only sad part is that most everything was sold out by Saturday night. Four to five of the items that we were trying to order were already sold out by the time with got to dinner at 7:00pm. I've had sushi in Seattle, Baltimore, San Fransico, and Seoul, South Korea, and Izakaya Den is easily my top choice in sushi.

    Food was very good. Service was excellent. It’s loud in there because there isn’t much to break up the noise but that’s not a deal breaker. We were a little surprised at the portion sizes of the pasta dishes. I’m not saying they should serve an entire family but they seemed a little skimpy. The branzino was delicious. We’ll go back for sure.

    What an amazing experience! The pizza was amazing. The rack of lamb was absolutely stunning. Great preparation cooked perfectly. The appetizers were fantastic. Nothing is pedestrian. They take everything and prepare it just a step above. The service was very spot on our waiter Romeo was very attentive and genuinely loved his job and was very good at it. The wine list was carefully put together with great Italian selections that paired fantastically with the menu . Thank goodness this restaurant is not too close to where I live. Otherwise I’d be there at least twice a week!!! 😂🇮🇹🇮🇹🇮🇹
