Best Restaurants with a Happy Hour in Astrodome

Service was top-notch, with a staff that’s knowledgeable and passionate about what they serve. Had dinner here with my wife and friends. This is an outstanding restaurant. The service was exceptional, the food was very well prepared and the drink/spirits options were plentiful. The ambiance could be a bit more ‘intimate,’ but the noise levels were acceptable and distance between seating areas was reasonable. I felt the pricing was just very slightly high, but, overall a very good experience which I would recommend.

The food was impeccable. Delicious. Creative. Artisan. These folks are good at what they do! The service was also top-notch! We had atleast 5 different people interact with us. Our main server, the hostess, a couple of others that refilled drinks and brought food to the table. We never had to ask for anything because we were offered to before we had a chance. They anticipated our requests. One oddity was that we had asked for about 3 slices of pizza to be packaged up to take home. The server took the pizza with the intention to do it and we never saw it again. However, we were stuffed by the time we left and didn't even realize it until we were at the car. So we just left it. We reasoned it was probably gone anyway. We didn't want to give the server a hard time by going back inside to demand 3 leftover slices of pizza. They all did such a great job even with this mishap. No harm. No foul.

Uchi is our special occasion dinner or date night. We love the variety of options (plenty of vegetarian options) and service is always top notch. I like to come during happy hour so that I can order from both happy hour and dinner menu. Linda is my favorite server! She makes really great recommendations and we always have the best dining experience with Linda. Will see you again soon!

We were celebrating three best friends birthdays!! Our waiter immediately brought each of us a complementary glass of champagne. That was a nice touch to start our evening! We were not rushed, which I appreciated. The only negative was!You have to order everything at once but our waiter Charles was wonderful and worked with us. It’s definitely a fun people watching place. The food and cocktails were fabulous. I had an old fashion cocktail. It was very good. We had lobster escargot! Yum!! Spicy cauliflower was a hit! Steak tar tar and an artichoke appetizer. Also we had a spicy Caesar salad, which I would have again if you go don’t miss out on the lobster escargot or the cauliflower. I would go again.
