The Cat Inn is a 16th century free house set in the picturesque village of West Hoathly, a hilltop village set in the heart of the Sussex countryside. It is in within easy distance from the towns of East Grinstead and Haywards Heath and only 25 minutes from Gatwick Airport. Excellent family lunch in lovely surroundings. Staff were very attentive without being intrusive. Food was deliciously tasty and washed down with a Bolney red. We had a thoroughly enjoyable afternoon. Thank you .

We were very pleasantly surprised by the high standard of cooking and imaginative menu at the Fig Tree. We went to celebrate two December birthdays with friends and had the tasting menu. This was well thought out and delivered some exceptional dishes. Sensible wine list too. We will definitely be returning
