- KKateNew York City •5 reviews4.0Dined 1 day agoWe were there Monday for Afternoon Tea and had a wonderful experience. The tables for tea were in a small, intimate alcove and were set beautifully. The ambiance made it feel like a special occasion, a real treat on a Monday afternoon. Our server was friendly and attentive, and our tea and food arrived timely without being rushed. The finger sandwiches and sweets were delicious. I wish there had been more. The quantity of food might seem skimpy, but afternoon tea isn't a replacement for lunch. I think it's important to keep that in mind. We really enjoyed tea and will definitely go back.More infoRestaurant 1915 and Blue Roof Tapas Bar - Bear MountainPrice: Very Expensive• American• Bear Mountain•4.3

- DDonnaNew York State •1 review4.0Dined on Nov 10, 2024Yesterday was the first time I ate at the Birdsall House. I decided to eat off the Sunday Brunch menu. The prix fix was a mere $30, which included a bloody Mary or Mimosa, an appetizer and an entree. I chose the virgin Bloody Mary, which was extremely delicious--didn't miss the vodka at all! I also had the very flavorful and creamy butternut squash soup as the appetizer . Corned beef hash with two eggs over easy was my chosen entree. The hash was not salty at all, and the pieces of corned beef were flavored nicely with sweet onions and potatoes. The serving was more than plentiful and also came with toast. Service was extremely friendly, prompt, but not rushed at all, even though the restaurant was extremely busy. My eating partner and I were attended to regularly in a most pleasant way.More infoBirdsall HousePrice: Moderate• Gastro Pub• Peekskill•4.7
