We had a nut allergy in the group and he had been made aware through our reservation and double checked that items on the menu were safe. It was a wonderful surprise that the chocolate cake was safe - the frosting was delicious. We’ll definitely be back. Easy parking nearby in the lot on fourth st.More infoRed Owl TavernPrice: Expensive• American• Old City•4.5

The food and service was great as well. I had the chef special, grilled Morris steak, breakfast potatoes, 2 eggs, herb bearnaise - it did not disappoint and was plenty filling. My friend had the shrimp and grits which she also enjoyed. I recommend this dining establishment.More infoThe MorrisPrice: Expensive• American• Center City•4.7
- LLauravipLos Angeles •21 reviews5.0Dined 2 days agoOne of my favorite restaurants to go to when I am in Philadelphia. The restaurant itself is beautiful – the ceiling and walls really make it special. Food is always delicious, especially the Toro sushi, which is melt in your mouth. The chicken curry Katsu is tasty and definitely big enough to share. Desserts were heavier - the sorbet trio is always a hit though. Also loved the sesame ice cream. Lots of yuppie couples on first dates!More infoMorimotoPrice: Very Expensive• Japanese• Center City•4.7
- KkevinvipPhiladelphia County •12 reviews5.0Dined 6 days agoWas looking for a steak dinner in Old City. Never thought I’d find it at a Sushi place. One of the best steaks I’ve had. I had the 20oz Porterhouse which was outstanding. The wife had Sushi. The value for the quality of food is great. The service was excellent. Give this place a try. It doesn’t disappoint. I’ll be back. See you in 2 weeks.More infoUmami Steak and Sushi BarPrice: Moderate• Japanese• Old City•4.6
