- NNickSeattle / Eastern Washington •7 reviews5.0Dined 2 days agoWith a view over the zocalo and cathedral the setting is fabulous. The menu was creative and both of use the 4-course tasting menu. The food was very well cooked and presented. The drinks were reasonably priced for a restaurant of this calibre. Waitstaff were numerous and attentive, although service was a little slow, hence not a perfect scoreMore infoEl Balcon del ZocaloPrice: Very Expensive• Contemporary Mexican• Centro•4.5

- DDafnisDallas - Fort Worth •3 reviews5.0Dined on Nov 16, 2024Dining at Migrante was a gastronomic journey that exceeded every expectation. From the moment we arrived, it was clear this wasn’t just a meal—it was an immersive experience where creativity and precision took center stage. One of the most impressive highlights was the ingenious use of garden cress across multiple dishes. This delicate yet flavorful ingredient was transformed into a star of its own, elevating each course with its peppery freshness and vibrancy. Chef Fernando Martinez Zavala deserves immense kudos for the creativity and artistry displayed in both preparation and presentation. Each plate was a masterpiece, combining colors, textures, and flavors in a way that felt both avant-garde and deeply rooted in Mexican culinary tradition. The attention to detail was impeccable, from the storytelling behind each dish to the seamless pairing of ingredients sourced from their own gardens. The ambiance of the restaurant was equally noteworthy, striking a perfect balance between luxury and warmth. The staff’s knowledge and passion enhanced the experience, making every guest feel like an honored participant in this culinary celebration. Migrante is not just a meal—it’s an unforgettable encounter with innovation, tradition, and artistry. Bravo to Chef Fernando Martinez Zavala and the entire team for creating something truly extraordinary. If you’re in Mexico City, this is a destination that absolutely cannot be missed.More infoMigrantePrice: Very Expensive• International• Condesa / Roma•4.6
- JJorgevipGreater Boston •13 reviews4.0Dined on Oct 26, 2024It is good and on the right direciton. Some of the dishes I found a little on the salty side. For me, they would have been just perfect if they were little less salty, but I generally use very little salt, so it should be good for most people. Original proposal and most dishes were pretty intresting and good. I loved the seasonal croquetas for starter.More infoFabiaPrice: Expensive• Farm-to-table• Altavista / San Angel / San Jerónimo•4.7
