- TtracieLos Angeles •12 reviews5.0Dined 2 days agoWhat a remarkable surprise to find such an elegant yet unpretentious restaurant that is not trying to hard while achieving extraordinary flavors and combinations of ingredients. Vermont is a bit of a gourmet food desert so this is a true gem because there is no attempt to make food with foam or tweezers or eye droppers. Just exquisitely Source ingredients that shineMore infoThe Reluctant Panther RestaurantPrice: Expensive• American• Manchester•4.8

We had to flag our server down to order wine with dinner and dinner came before the wine arrived. Located in the Southern Vermont Arts Center, where today the member artists exhibition opened. Tonya, our regular server in the dining room is wonderful. She is the best! I had a delish cup of soup to start followed by the Denver Omelette and great home fries. My partner had the fried chicken sandwich without the bread and loved every bite. For desert we split a chocolate dish which was spectacular.More infoCurATE at Southern Vermont Arts CenterPrice: Moderate• American• Manchester•4.7
- OTOpenTable DinerNew York City •1 review5.0Dined on Feb 25, 2024From the moment I walked in, I could tell that dining here was going to be the experience of a life time. The host who seated me also seemed like the manager, and she was very on top of it and was organized. My server Nicole (total coincidence that we have the same name, ha!) was efficient, had tons of menu knowledge, and gave great service. The bartender also clearly knew how to make a great drink because the razarita special cocktail was everything I needed in life. The support staff floating around were also clearly trying to do their best work. I ordered the poutine as my starter and oh man, is it incredible after skiing all day. A huge portion and the creamy gravy and cheese curds definitely didn’t have a hard time sliding down my throat. I got the chicken as my entree and it was also FIRE. The lemon creme sauce had such a light flavor to it and brought out the flavors of the Vermont local chicken breast. Also, the roasted veg that came with it was cauliflower and carrots and I could tell that they were roasted to perfection. It’s always nice to see restaurants with healthy options. Also, I had a baked cookie skillet for dessert and the icecream on top of it made me levitate a little bit, if you really want to experience heaven on earth, get the cookie skillet. Full, a little tipsy, and happy with my service, I was able to go home feeling like a bear ready for hibernation. 15/10 will be back!More infoTable 43.1 at Black Bear LodgePrice: Expensive• American• Stratton•3.7
