Blacklock is a modern take of the Great British chophouse nestled in the corner of a Grade II listed textiles warehouse. We take the best meat in the country from the award-winning farmer and butcher Philip Warren in Cornwall. We cook chops simply over our charcoal grill with a little help from vintage Blacklock irons and serve it all up alongside cocktails from the trolley and wine on tap in our subterranean chop mecca. On Sundays we serve a Roast almost as good as Mum's. We have limited spaces for Walk-ins, so we encourage booking in advance to avoid disappointment during busy times.     From start to finish the experience was incredible. It was very busy but service was super attentive - we had an allergy on our table and staff were very accommodating, double checking every dish. Drinks were served quickly and food was also served relatively quickly too. The price is a bargain for the standard of food: it was delicious and presented beautifully too. My only note would be that the slow cooked beef was a smaller portion size than our other dishes but absolutely not a criticism as it was cooked to perfection and served beautifully. Desserts were also incredible, the brownie is a smaller portion size than the other mini dessert on the menu but again not a criticism as it was beautiful: just a note for other guests when ordering to keep in mind. Overall an incredible dining experience, we will be back!
