Hawksmoor Wood Wharf is housed in an eco-friendly floating pavilion in a new riverside neighbourhood in Canary Wharf. Gently rising and falling with the tide, the main restaurant at dock-level is joined by a 120-seat waterside bar. Both include terraces with views across the water (squint your eyes and you might just see the ghosts of great ships laden with mighty lengths of timber that used to swing in and unload there). There's also a private dining room for up to 20 people named after the local legend Queenie Watts, a singer, songwriter, actor and self-confessed bawdy landlady (think Peggy Mitchell meets Joni Mitchell). The menu revolves around the best British produce the country has to offer with grass-fed dry-aged ethically reared beef, sustainable seafood from the South coast and some of the biggest hits from the Hawksmoor New York menu.

We’ve long loved Canary Wharf and it's rich history of the nearby Docklands and Billingsgate Market, yet Blacklock in a glass tower never quite fit. With the pleasure of dining at Hawksmoor Wood Wharf to celebrate a special birthday, and it was an exceptional experience from start to finish. The porterhouse was cooked to absolute perfection—tender, juicy, and full of flavor. The side dishes complemented the steak beautifully, each one thoughtfully prepared with attention to detail. The desserts were a highlight as well, particularly the indulgent chocolate plate that arrived with a candle, a lovely touch to make the evening even more memorable. Not only was the food outstanding, but the service was impeccable. The staff went above and beyond to make the celebration feel truly special, showing genuine care and attention to every detail. Hawksmoor Wood Wharf really knows how to deliver a top-notch dining experience, and I can’t recommend it enough for anyone looking to enjoy great food in a welcoming, professional setting.

Great meal at the Ivy. Had a slight issue with the steaks not being cooked according to the order but they re-did them and they were then perfect. To apologise they kindly offered us deserts on the house which was very much appreciated. Would definitely recommend and we will return. The customer service was excellent and was exactly what I would hope for if things don't go 100% correct.
