Blackpool has so many fantastic places to eat, but our delightful Palm Court restaurant is the place for a sumptuous, relaxing dinner. The Victorian dining room is full of grandeur and our restaurant team always go that little bit further to make serving a meal a magical experience. The views in the restaurant are spectacular, with sweeping vistas across the Fylde coast and the occasional heritage tram tootling by.     First visit to Michael’s WAN’s restaurant and it didn’t disappoint. The restaurant was beautiful and it was very busy. The service was excellent and the food was absolutely delicious. We really enjoyed it.

    We reserved a table online for Sunday Lunch for 2 at The Imperial Hotel. Restaurant was very quiet and we had a lovely table overlooking the seafront. Service from the waiting staff was attentive and helpful. The roast dinner was lovely, with a choice of beef or pork and all the accompaniments. Sadly the dessert somewhat let the experience down. It is advertised as a "two course sumptuous menu with a complimentary salad bar and a beautiful dessert buffet". The complimentary salad bar was very understocked and underwhelming and the dessert buffet consisted of 3 dinner plates with a very small selection of cupcakes and brownies. If the dessert options had lived up to expectations it would be a much bigger score.

    Our food was lovely and the service great. The only thing I could say was my main course was chicken in cream pasta sauce. I had it a starte size and there was very little sauce and no flavour at all. So glad I didn’t have a main portion as I would have left even more.
