Our waiter was knowledgeable and his recommendations were perfect: from the wine selections to the food pairings. The wine flight is the way to go as there are too many nice wines to choose from. We only had the shareable plates but they were all outstanding: the bacon-wrapped dates (if you think you don’t like dates, try this!); the mussels; the barratta ; and the blistered peppers. I can only imagine what the mains are like if the small plates are this good.More infoSixty Vines Foggy BottomPrice: Moderate• Wine Bar• Washington•4.7

From the scallops wrapped in bacon, filet mignon and lobster to the sides and of course the bread. I definitely would recommend this place.More infoMorton's The Steakhouse - Downtown DCPrice: Very Expensive• Steakhouse• Downtown•4.6
- LLizVIPWashington, D.C. Area •11 reviews5.0Dined 4 days agoFive stars for A. Bar and Kitchen. The food was delicious - my favorites were the duck and the oyster mushrooms. The service is lovely. One can hear themselves think. Not too loud but a very cool vibe. So wonderful to finally have a good restaurant not too far from the Kennedy Center! I also can’t wait to try it in nicer weather - they have a very cool space out back with a fire pit and a little garden.More infoa.kitchen+bar D.C.Price: Expensive• American• Washington•4.7

- JJulieSan Francisco Bay Area •3 reviews5.0Dined on Dec 19, 2024There was a private event that required we be seated in a private dining room that was cozy and comfortable. Despite this huge event happening, our service by Gustavo was incredibly attentive and timely. What a warm and wonderful human being! Chef Todd Gray always manages to hire the best staff out there. They are incredibly personable, knowledgeable and caring about their work. The food is always scrumptious and top notch. Equinox is our go-to plant-based restaurant for sure. It's always a celebration of food, love, ambience, and fabulous service. We adore it there.More infoEquinox - DCPrice: Expensive• Contemporary American• Downtown•4.7
